JULIE ARKELL: PLAY – MAKING SMALL WORLDS (UK)

THE WORKSHOP
Julie Arkell (UK) has previously held workshops at Tversted Skole, and we are delighted to welcome her back. She creates a magical, fairytale-like universe from recycled materials, giving new life to all the small objects that might otherwise be discarded and forgotten. On this day of play we will begin by covering a little house… the start of making your village.
From there clouds, birds, trees, toadstools, hills, and figures will be stitched to make your own world of make believe and stories.

Julie will provide a house for each participant.

Your own sewing kit and scraps of fabric.
